Afghani demonstrators rally against Woman's Murder

In Afghanistan hundreds of demonstrators marched in the capitol to denounce police for allowing a crowd to beat a woman to death.

Last week Farkhunda was beaten to death and burnt by a mob in front of police after being falsely accused of burning the Koran.

For the second day running protesters in Kabul painted their faces red representing Farkhunda’s bloodied face whose death was captured on mobile cameras. The interior ministry said that 20 offices including the police chief of the district have been dismissed over the case.

The president has ordered an inquiry and 28 people have been arrested for their participation in the attack.
