The Seed Project at QPAC

The Seed Project is a weekly event. It kicks-off at 5.30pm every Friday from 20 June to 22 August 2014. You know that rare moment when you stumble across an incredible unearthed band? Well, now you can relive it every week! Now in its second year, The Seed Project continues to offer free live original music every Friday night from the very best of our local independent bands, before they've hit the mainstream airwaves. QPAC's Melbourne Street Green is the perfect spot to watch this weekly 'mini festival' come alive - the warmth of the wood fires, hot and cold drinks, delish comfort food smiling faces all 'round. Don a scarf, round up the crew and wind down your working week as you warm up for the night ahead! Musicians are drawn from the immense talent within The Con's Bachelor of Popular Music which has launched the careers of graduates hailing from The Delta Riggs, The John Steele Singers, Nine Sons of Dan and Wolfmother. From funk and pop-rap, heavy metal and alt rock, to folk and hip-hop you'll leave each Friday night as a new fan, in love with a new music genre and simply having had a great evening out.
