4ZZZ Flashback: 40 years of Independent Radio

On September 20 2015 Brisbane Festival and 4ZZZ present a showcase of seminal acts that have been integral to Brisbane’s music scene over the last 40 years and also much loved by 4ZZZ and our listeners. To help celebrate 4ZZZ's 40th Birthday and showcase 4 decades of Brisbane's music scenes, we are very excited to announce special performances by Jeremy Neale, Screamfeeder, Ups and Downs and Ed Kuepper! 4ZZZ is deeply entwined within the history of local and national music. It gave the first airplay for many of Brisbane’s greatest musical exports such as The Saints, The Go-Betweens, Regurgitator, The Grates, Violent Soho, and many, many more.
