Dead lifts are an awesome exercise when done correctly. It’s a great compound exercise that targets the Quads, Hamstrings, Glutes, lower back and your core.

Keeping the right technique is paramount and its really easy to lose focus and hurt yourself in the middle of a repetition.

- Keep your head up
- Shoulders always back and down
- Your core has to be activated and switched on
- Keep your back flat and definitely not rounded
- The bar/dumbbells should stay close to your knee line
- Don’t jerk the movement
- Start light
