Having already been made feature album across a number of stations I thought we better pay more attention to the strangely psychedelic sounds floating out of Kevin Purdy's corner of the world. Unsurprisingly it was well worth the effort. From cute slices of psych-pop to full blown prog epics, Deviant Nature is intricately detailed and lushly executed. In a time where a lot of mind-bending music gets put out, and a lot of it is very good, Purdy is some of the best.
