The Regulars

Unabashed guitar based rock and roll with sunny surfaces but also undercurrents of darkness.

The Regulars are not afraid to pay homage to their influences and wear them proudly on their short sleeves.

The Regulars love the guitar rock of bands like Teenage Fan club, Queens of the Stone Age, Big Star, Pixies, Swervedriver, Mudhoney, and Flamin' Groovies.

Their sound is derived from years of tinkering in the garage with fuzz laden guitars through valve amps.  Even their name is a tip of the hat to one of their fav bands, The Replacements, who had a song called “Here come the Regulars.”

Consisting of 3 songwriters, their original songs can oscillate between punk to gritty grunge; Detroit rock to power pop.

The members are veterans of the Sydney and Brisbane music scene having played in bands like The Daisygrinders, Unanimous, the Miscounts, Subsonic Barflies, and Death of a Nun.

The band have spent the last 12 months in their studio refining a set of originals and are now ready to unleash them live.

The first EP (Waiting for…)  gives a flavor of what to expect.
