Four international world-class magicians tantalise and titillate your taste for magic
Magic is in the air again after the record-breaking The Illusionists show, with a new stage illusion spectacular inspired by Lionsgate’s blockbuster film series, Now You See Me. The third film Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, was recently released with much excitement. Now you can be one of the audience as if you were watching the Four Horsemen with the dazzling illusionist show, Now You See Me Live.
Produced by Tim Lawson and Simon Painter, both visionary creatives having worked with Disney, Cirque and Cirque du Soleil, they know the perfect formula to excite and entertain an audience with perfection.
Four international world-class magicians tantalise and titillate your taste for magic with high-tech illusions and death defying feats of resilience and escapology:
Adam Trent from the USA hosts with his cheeky grin and easy manner, famous for his travelling magic TV show, The Road Trick. His sleight of hand and audience interactions entertain and baffle whilst Spanish Magician D’Or, Pablo Cánovas astounds with his teleportation machine and magical mastery.
Gabriella Lester’s talents range from close magic beamed on the big screen via a live onstage camera to exciting escapology. She is the youngest Horseman at only 22, having already mastered Houdini’s famous upside down straight-jacket escape by the age of 14!
The Italian stallion and daredevil Andrew Basso, recreates Houdini’s most dangerous escape from the water torture cell. Submerged upside down in water hanging by his ankles in a perspex box, you can witness him struggling to free his chains and locks before running out of breath. A terrifyingly memorable and nail-biting performance.
Audience participation is encouraged, either on-stage or throughout the theatre with a roving cameraman to highlight every expression. Remember to pick your four special playing cards before entering the theatre for a baffling card trick using the whole audience. Your understanding of physics is obliterated with mind-reading, teleportation and even time-travel. It is a spectacular show that the whole family will enjoy together.
The stage has a Vegas-style glitz and glamour with high-tech pyrotechnics, lasers and gigantic-scale magic, including a real helicopter magically appearing on stage!
If you missed The Illusionists or are a fan of magic and the films Now You See Me, make sure you don’t miss Now You See Me Live at this brief Brisbane stop of their international tour and have your mind blown by the Four Horsemen with their spectacles of the supernatural.
